Welcome to the Colt/Palomino Spring 2024 Registration for Gurnee Youth Baseball!

 

For the 2024 season, the GYB Colt In-House league has partnered with the Chicago Suburban Youth Baseball Association to provide an expanded, age-appropriate, competitive baseball experience for our players. 

 

In addition to practices and inter-league games, GYB will field Colt (Freshmen and Sophomore) and Palomino (Junior and Senior) teams in the CSYBA. 

 

Players who register for GYB Colt will be assigned to teams at either the Colt or Palomino level based on their age-group. These teams will practice and play inter-league games at GYB, as in years past, but they will also play against area CSYBA teams once or twice a week. This format will allow players of similar age and ability levels to play on teams together against other teams from their age and ability level. 

 

While most of the CSYBA  games will be hosted at Faulkner field at GYB, there will be occasions when players may need to travel to games. The CSYBA is composed of teams throughout the Chicagoland area, but every effort will be made to keep travel distances reasonable.      

 

The season will begin in late May and continue through mid-July.
